But what piano students don’t see is all the SLOW PIANO PRACTICE that goes on behind the scenes. If they could go behind the curtain and see that famous pianist practice, they would be amazed at how slowly even world-class pianists practice.
Here is a technique which I call the “cascading waterfall” technique which calls for rapid runs down the keyboard. Watch as we practice slowly over and over to get the feel and the fingering correct before we get it up to speed:
