Helpful Left Hand Chord Patterns Out Of “Broken” Chords
Do you know what a “broken” chord is? Instead of playing all the notes of a chord at once, you stretch them out and play them one at a time. That’s called an arpeggio. Left hand chord patterns from arpeggios can function as the harmonic background of a song – the environment that the melody, or tune, lives in. There are various types of chord patterns, but in this video I demonstrate how to take a chord in the left hand and stretch it out and make a pleasant chord pattern out of it.
